Your Account, Plan and Billing
Change your name and photo, add a sign-in, check your plan and seats, pay for Pro, export your data or delete your account.
Everything about you, rather than a project, sits in Account Settings. The Subscription tab shows your plan, its status and your seats, and hands billing to Stripe. Deleting your account cancels your subscription at once and deletes every project you created.
Click Settings in the sidebar to open Account Settings. Its tabs are Profile, Theme, Notifications, Subscription and Data. Theme recolours the dashboard for you alone and does not touch your embed. Notifications has a guide of its own: notifications and email.
Change your name or photo
On Profile, click the pencil beside your name, type, and click Save. To change the photo, hover over it, click the camera, and pick an image under 500 KB. Your email is the one you signed up with, and it cannot be changed here.
Sign in another way
Connected Accounts lists GitHub and Google. A green dot means that sign-in is already linked. Connect takes you through that provider’s sign-in and links it to the account you are in now, whatever email the provider holds. After that, either way in lands in the same account. There is no button to unlink one.
This is sign-in only. Opening GitHub issues from feedback uses a separate connection, set up per project: see GitHub issues and AI fixes.
See your plan and seats
Subscription shows:
- Current Plan, Free or Pro, with its status beside it. The status is green while it reads
activeand red for anything else, such aspast_due. - Renews on and a date, or Access until and a date once you have cancelled.
- Projects: every project you created, archived ones included.
- Total Feedback across those projects.
- Team Seats, on Pro: you, plus one for each membership on the projects you created. A person on two of your projects counts twice.
Seats you hold on other people’s projects are on their bill, not yours. When someone joins or leaves one of your projects, Stripe changes your seat count and charges or credits the difference for the rest of the period.
Upgrade to Pro
Open the plans
Click Upgrade to Pro on the Subscription tab. It opens the pricing page. Any Pro prompt in the dashboard opens the same plans in a window.
Pick monthly or yearly
The switch starts on Yearly, $99 a seat. Monthly is $9 a seat.
Pay
Click Engage on Commander, or Upgrade Now in the window, and pay on Stripe’s page. You come back to the dashboard with “Your subscription has been activated successfully!”
What Pro adds is in Free vs Pro.
Change your card or cancel
Manage Billing appears once you have a Stripe billing account, which starts the first time you go to checkout. It opens Stripe’s billing page, where you change your card, read invoices, or cancel. When you are done, it returns you to the dashboard.
When a payment fails
The moment Stripe reports a failed payment, your plan drops to Free. There is no grace period. The tab then reads Free with a red past_due, and your projects lose their Pro features, as listed in when Pro ends.
The tab says your last payment failed and offers Manage Billing in place of Upgrade to Pro. Click it and fix the card. Once Stripe collects, Pro comes back by itself. The dashboard’s Subscription panel links to the same place.
A new checkout won’t help, because you still have a subscription. If you try one from the pricing page, it stops with “You already have a subscription. Use Manage Billing in Account Settings to update your payment method.”
Export your data
On Data, click Download JSON under Export Account Data. You get account-export- and the date, as a .json file. It holds your name, email and plan, and every project you created, archived ones included. For each project it lists the domain, the names of its live keys (not the keys) and its feedback: type, message, page, element, notes, whether it is archived, and when it came in.
It leaves out screenshots, recordings, console errors, and projects you only belong to. For one project’s full records, use its own export in project settings and data.
Delete your account
Deleting your account deletes every project you created and all of their feedback, for your teammates as well. It cannot be undone. Export first.
Open the Data tab
Go to Account Settings and click Data.
Delete
Click Delete Account, then Delete Account again in the window.
Qaid cancels your Stripe subscription first, straight away rather than at the end of the period. If Stripe can’t be reached, nothing is deleted and you see “We couldn’t cancel your subscription, so your account was not deleted. Please try again, or email team@qaid.dev.” Once the cancel goes through, the account goes, along with your memberships on other people’s projects.
